Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® Drivers and Crews Recognized at the 2013 Monster Jam Awards Ceremony from Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (March 24, 2013) – Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® teams, drivers and crew members were recognized at the 2013 Monster Jam Awards Ceremony from The Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. As a perfect way to end 14th Monster Jam World FinalsSM weekend, all were honored for their hard work and dedication throughout the last very exciting year.

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals XIV, presented by NGK Spark Plugs, came to an exciting conclusion Saturday night from Sam Boyd Stadium in front of a sold out crowd ultimately crowning two world champions. Grave Digger The Legend®, driven by Adam Anderson, and Max-DSM, driven by Tom Meents, both brought home the Racing World Championship and Freestyle World Championship hardware respectively.

“This feels really awesome to come up here for a second time and receive another one of these Monster Jam World Finals trophies,” said Anderson. “We had a great year this year thanks to Cole, he did an awesome job, I can’t thank him enough and our entire team. I talked to Tom before last night and I wanted to beat him more than anyone out there, I look up to him so much. It was a tough bracket from the bottom to the top, and to take it to the end, how do you top that off?”

“All I can say, it’s been a good ride,” said 11-time World Champion Meents. “All of my guys work so hard and give it their all. Neil is a great driver, Kreg, you nailed it. There are so many people I could thank, it would take all night. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
